For one local teacher, the opportunity to bring literature to life for Walkertown Middle/High School students and their families is reaching new heights thanks to the North Carolina School Library Media Association. Gina Webster, media coordinator for Walkertown Middle School, recently received a $1,000 Read 2 Succeed Grant to offset the expenses of her Ages & Pages project – a program that helps foster a love of reading across multiple generations by encouraging families to read together. For more, see the Thursday, Nov. 22 edition.
