State approves Novant Health expansion plans at KMC

Novant Health Kernersville Medical Center (KMC) has tentatively received permission from the state to build a new surgery center on the KMC campus with the approval of their certificate-of-need application.
The decision was issued by the N.C. Division of Health Service Regulation’s Healthcare Planning and Certificate of Need (CON) Section on August 26. For more, see the Saturday/Sunday, September 17 & 18, 2016 edition.
