Robbery

Officers with the Kernersville Police Department responded to the Pop Shoppe at 627 N.C. 66 South just after 10 p.m. Sunday night, Sept. 4, in reference to a strong armed robbery.
According to the KPD, upon arrival officers learned that a black male selected an item to purchase and while the register was opened removed an undisclosed amount of currency. Police described the subject to be approximately 6’3” in height, heavy build with dreadlocks.
The subject was last seen wearing a short sleeved light blue and white plaid shirt, blue jeans and black shoes. Police reported that he left the area in an older model dark blue Ford Taurus and was last seen traveling north on N.C 66 South.
