Sickle Cell Awareness Yard Sale and Medical Care Fundraiser

September is Sickle Cell Awareness Month, and a yard sale and fundraiser set for Saturday, September 10 from 7 a.m.-1 p.m. in the parking lot at 815 Old Winston Road will benefit Lanxton Brown, a young Kernersville boy who has been battling the disease since he was nine-months-old.
