Map Act concerns

Governor Pat McCrory put his executive stamp of approval on legislation last week that rescinds all N.C. Department of Transportation corridor maps, like those filed for the Northern Beltway in Forsyth County that used the Map Act to freeze landowners’ abilities to improve their property while awaiting the state to buy them out.
