Helping flood victims

he Kernersville community rallied around one of its own this week to help residents in West Virginia whose lives have been destroyed by the devastating flooding in recent weeks.
Patrick McGinnis, president of the Glenn High School Booster Club, grew up in Beckley, W. Va. When he began receiving emails and photographs from friends still in the area that showed just how bad the situation is there, McGinnis knew he had to help.
