Cancer survivor

As the Relay for Life of Kernersville date approaches, organizers are encouraging cancer survivors to sign up for the event’s Survivor Dinner, a meal where they’re honored and recognized for the battles they’ve fought and won.
One such survivor is Byron Barker, the father of East Forsyth High School staff member Tara Stanley, who heads up the high school’s exceptional children department. For more, see the Saturday/Sunday, April 9 & 10, 2016 edition.
